Formula IV

Using microbes to digest oil in your oil water separators is a proven technique to minimize the oil content in effluent, sludge and to reduce the clean-out frequency. Microbes added to an oil water separators break down petroleum products suspended or dissolved in the wastewater, floating oil or sludge.

Facilities using bioremediation have eliminated wastewater violations and have reported reducing their sludge petroleum content by more than 80%.

Reducing the petroleum content can lower the regulatory status of the sludge, which will affect the required disposal method and disposal costs.
